Frost Protection - Temporary Protection
With the coming winter P Gibson (Services) offer the complete frost protection solution. Systems designed in accordance with BSEN standards are offered.
Ball Valve Frost Protection
The last winter saw numerous sprinkler tank ball valve assemblies freeze and burst as they are not protected against the severe weather conditions P Gibson (Services) offer a trace heating and lagging solution to ball valve assemblies of any shape or size.
Frost Protection Temporary Solution
If your sprinkler pipes do freeze through the winter P Gibson (Services) can provide an easy to fit lagging scarf to provide a short term solution to sprinkler companies whilst repairs can be booked and carried out to the trace heating and lagging.
PDA
P Gibson (Services) have been operating a PDA driven job control and monitoring system. Clients can be given the facility to log into a web page to download their job sheets/reports. Once our engineer has completed his works on site, the report is available immediately to be e-mailed or forwarded to the respective clients.
Life Safety Systems
Sprinkler life safety monitoring systems of either the analogue or conventional type can be provided. With the understanding of the sprinkler rules we offer a complete package.
Fire Alarm Systems
Engineers in P Gibson (Services) have been trained and certified to BS5839. We are therefore able to offer fire detection and alarm systems.
Gas Extinguishing Systems
For high risk or computer/communication facilities we can offer a complete turn key package for gas extinguishing systems such as Inergen, FM200, Novak or similar.
Maintenance
To fire alarm systems we offer maintenance in accordance with BS5839, we also offer testing of shop units fire alarm and sprinkler systems. Pre-action and gas systems can also be maintained by our engineers. Interfacing between sprinklers and fire alarms testing can also be accommodated.
Immersion Heater Health Check
It has come to light that immersion heaters seem to be the forgotten part in the sprinkler tank installation. We offer a health check and parts replacement carried by our engineers of these units. In order to allow these to be tested by sprinkler engineers we also offer a push to test function that can be fitted within the pump house that will test the function of the immersion thus reducing the damage by frost.
